Samsung chief heads for Middle East

Samsung Electronics Co. Chairman Lee Jae-yong arrives at Seoul Gimpo Business Aviation Center in Seoul on Feb. 6, 2024, to depart for the United Arab Emirates and other Middle East nations, one day after he was acquitted in connection with a controversial 2015 merger of two Samsung affiliates, allegedly conducted to help him secure the management rights of the Samsung empire.
