Naval contingent departs for Gulf of Aden

Sailors aboard the Chungmugong Yi Sun-shin destroyer bid farewell to their family members during a send-off ceremony at a naval base in the southeastern port city of Busan on Dec. 19, 2022, before the 300-strong 39th contingent of the Cheonghae unit leaves for the Gulf of Aden to combat piracy in waters off Somalia for the next six months.
