SEOUL, Feb. 11 (Yonhap) -- Girl group KiiiKiii has topped the Melon Top 100 chart for the first time with "404 (New Era)," the title track from its second mini-album, its agency Starship Entertainment said Wednesday.

The song reached No. 1 on the chart at 10 p.m. Tuesday, 16 days after its release on Jan. 26. It marks the first time since debut that KiiiKiii has claimed the top spot on Melon’s flagship chart.

With the track, the group also ranked fourth on Melon’s daily chart and topped YouTube Music’s daily and weekly charts, Apple Music’s popular chart, Spotify Korea’s daily chart and Bugs’ daily and weekly charts. All tracks from the new album also entered the rising chart on China’s largest music platform, QQ Music.

“KiiiKiii has firmly established its identity by capturing public attention with its natural Gen Z sensibility and free-spirited energy during this round of promotions,” Starship said.
