Hyundai Motor unveils robot firefighter
A robot firefighter loaded with firefighting equipment demonstrates how to put a fire under control in Namyangju, northeast of Seoul, on Feb. 24, 2026, during a ceremony for Hyundai Motor Group to donate such robots to the Fire Service. The group has developed the remotely controlled robot in cooperation with the Fire Service, hoping it will be able to aid or act on behalf of firefighters during certain firefighting scenes. (Yonhap)
