SEOUL, March 3 (Yonhap) -- Kim Hyun-joong, Heo Young-saeng and Kim Kyu-jong, three of the five-member K-pop group SS501, will release a new album as the trio "FIVE O ONE" on March 7 at noon, Kim’s agency Henecia said on Tuesday.

The new album, titled “Set It Off,” includes the lead track of the same name along with several new songs.

The three artists debuted in 2005 as SS501 and rose to fame with hits such as “Snow Prince” and “Fighter,” becoming one of the representative boy groups of K-pop’s second generation.

Last year, they celebrated their 20th debut anniversary with a successful world tour that began in Seoul and continued to Tokyo and Osaka in Japan, as well as Hong Kong.

According to Henecia, the album features new tracks that were pre-released during the 20th anniversary concerts and received an enthusiastic response. “Listeners will be able to feel the energy of the concert hall and the emotion of the live performances through the recordings,” the agency said, describing the album as a project that reflects the group’s strengthened teamwork after 20 years.

The album release date coincides with the first day of the Seoul encore concert for the 20th anniversary world tour. The members will meet fans at the Seoul encore concerts scheduled for March 7–8 at KBS Arena.
