KATSEYE logs 35 weeks on Billboard 200, longest run for girl group album released last year

SEOUL, March 4 (Yonhap) -- The album by HYBE’s Korea-U.S. joint girl group KATSEYE has spent 35 weeks on the U.S. Billboard main albums chart, setting the longest run for a girl group album released last year.

 

According to Billboard on Tuesday (U.S. time), KATSEYE’s mini album “BEAUTIFUL CHAOS” ranked 77th on the Billboard 200, down 25 spots from the previous week, extending its chart stay to 35 consecutive weeks.

 

It marks the longest charting record among girl group albums released last year.

 

The group’s previous release, “SIS” (“Soft Is Strong”), climbed 36 places to No. 156, marking its 10th week on the chart.

 

Elsewhere on the Billboard 200, ATEEZ’s “GOLDEN HOUR : Part.4” ranked 45th, while ENHYPEN’s “THE SIN : VANISH” came in at 95th.

 

Meanwhile, the original soundtrack album for the KPop Demon Hunters slipped one spot to No. 11 on the Billboard 200, marking its 36th consecutive week on the chart.

 

“Golden,” a track from the album, rose one notch to No. 6 on the Billboard Hot 100 singles chart, extending its chart run to 36 consecutive weeks. Another track, “How It’s Done,” fell three spots to No. 94 on the same chart.
