SEOUL, Oct. 1 (Yonhap) -- Pianist Cho Seong-jin, an exclusive artist of world-renowned classical music record label Deutsche Grammophon (DG), and violinist Kim Bomsori will play a song by composer Chopin in an online performance.
The performances will be presented through DG's new video music service, DG Stage, according to Universal Music on Friday. Cho's performances will be released between Oct. 2-23 in Korean time while Kim Bomsori's performances will be released on Oct. 9.
On Saturday, Cho will perform solo performances of Szymanowski's "Masques op. 34" and Chopin's "Scherzo No. 4 in E Major, Op.54." Cho will be playing "Chopin Piano Concerto No. 2" along with the European Union Youth Orchestra conducted by Gianandrea Noseda.
Kim will collaborate with Polish pianist Rafał Blechacz and play Chopin's "Nocturne in E-flat Major, Op. 9 No. 2," Mozart and Beethoven's Violin Sonata, Liszt's "Consolations, S. 172: No. 3 Lento placido in D-flat Major," and Debussy's "Préludes Book 1, L. 117: 8. La fille aux cheveux de lin."
The performance tickets cost 9.90 euros (around 13,000 won) and can be enjoyed for a week.
