SEOUL March 3 (Yonhap) -- Competitor Hwang Young-woong who is caught up in a beating accusation will drop out from the program “Fire Trot.”

“After careful consideration with the producers of the program, I have decided to stop my journey through ‘Fire Trot’” addressed Hwang Young-woong through his official SNS account on Friday.

Although the artist Hwang Young-woong was considered as one of the candidates of the final rounds of “Fire Trot,” however the accusation regarding his violence throughout a dinner meeting, this act has trigger his past violence towards his ex girlfriend, school bullying and more to rise to the surface.

Artist Hwang Young-woong who has topped the first round of finals at “Fire Trot” which aired on March 1, was drawn in to rumors on how the producers are supporting Hwang Young-woong and they have already written a scenario for all the contestants and the winner of the program is already selected by the producers and more shaking up the transparency of the competition program.
As the artist Hwang Young-woong stepped down from the competition, the second round of the final competition of “Fire Trot” will consist of 7 members out of 8 finalists.
