End of year-end donation campaign

The "thermometer of love" at Gwanghwamun Square in central Seoul reaches 109.6 C on Jan. 31, 2024, the last day of a two-month donation drive by the Community Chest of Korea. The annual nationwide charity campaign is aimed at encouraging people to make donations for the needy, with the thermometer going up by one degree whenever 1 percent of the target donations is collected.
