S. Korea hit by yellow dust

This photo, taken from Mount Namhan Fortress in Gwangju, south of Seoul, on April 21, 2026, shows the landscape of Seoul shrouded in haze, as the atmospheric levels of PM10, harmful particles that are smaller than 10 microns in diameter, rose nationwide due to inflows of a yellow dust storm originating from the inland deserts in northern China.
