Ruling party leader pays tribute to late democratic fighters
Han Dong-hoon, head of the ruling People Power Party's emergency leadership committee, burns incense at the March 15 National Cemetery in the southeastern coastal city of Changwon on Jan. 10, 2024, to pay tribute to democratic fighters killed in a 1960 pro-democracy demonstration in the city that added fuel to mounting public protests against the dictatorial regime of then President Rhee Syng-man.
