SEOUL, Jan. 27 (Yonhap) -- A special program highlighting the 21st-century films of the late actor Ahn Sung-ki will be held next month.

Picturehouse, an independent and art-house cinema, said Tuesday it will host a special exhibition titled “Ahn Sung-ki in the 21st Century” from Feb. 5 to March 5.

The program will screen films Ahn appeared in from the 2000s onward. The lineup includes “Paper Flower” (2019), which earned him the best actor award at the Houston International Film Festival in 2020, as well as “Unbowed” (2011), “Revivre” (2014), “In the Name of the Son” (2020) and “Cassiopeia” (2022).

Talk sessions with actors and directors who worked with Ahn will also be held. Details on participants will be announced later.

An exhibition will be staged in the theater lobby as well. It will feature works by photographer Koo Bohnchang, including stills from “Our Joyful Young Days” (1987), which were used for Ahn’s official memorial portrait, and previously unreleased poster photographs from “Paper Flower.”

Stills, on-set photos and related video materials from the films being screened will also be on display.
