SEOUL, Jan. 27 (Yonhap) -- K-pop girl group IVE will make a comeback next month with a new studio album.

Boy group MONSTA X will embark on global activities starting with a world tour, while singer WOODZ is set to release a full-length album and take on an acting challenge.

Kakao Entertainment announced the 2026 annual activity plans for its artists on Tuesday.

IVE will release its second full-length album, “REVIVE+,” in late February. The upcoming album comes about six months after “IVE SECRET,” which was released in August last year. Ahead of the album’s release, the group will unveil a prerelease track on Feb. 9.

After completing their comeback promotions, IVE will resume their second world tour, “Show What I Am,” which kicked off at Seoul’s KSPO Dome in October last year. The tour will continue in April, beginning at Kyocera Dome Osaka in Japan, followed by stops across the Americas, Europe, Asia and Oceania.

MONSTA X, who reunited for full-group activities last year to mark their 10th debut anniversary, will hold concerts for their world tour, “THE X : NEXUS,” from Jan. 30 to Feb. 1 at KSPO Dome in Seoul.

The tour marks MONSTA X’s first in four years since 2022. Following the Seoul shows, the group will perform in Asia, Latin America and other regions.

WOODZ, who sparked a chart resurgence last year with his hit song “Drowning,” has announced plans to release a new full-length album this year.

He will also star in the film “Slide Strum Mute,” set to be released on Feb. 26. The 59-minute short film, directed by Park Se-young, features WOODZ in the lead role as Woo-jin, a character who races toward his inner desires when faced with an irresistible opportunity.

Meanwhile, rookie group KiiiKiii made a comeback on Jan. 26 with its second mini album, “Delulu Pack,” while solo artists such as Kyuhyun and Jung Seung-hwan will continue their activities.

Band Dragon Pony is scheduled to meet fans through various performances, and five-member band Heartswave, formed through Mnet’s survival program “Steel Heart Club,” which ended last month, is set to debut in the first half of this year.
