N. Korea to abolish agencies for inter-Korean cooperation

This image, captured from North Korea's Korean Central Television on Jan. 16, 2024, shows a North Korean announcer reading a statement that the North decided to abolish three agencies, meant to promote inter-Korean dialogue and cooperation, at a session of the Supreme People's Assembly, the North's parliament, at the Mansudae Assembly Hall in Pyongyang the previous day. The bodies in question are the Committee for the Peaceful Reunification of the Country, the National Economic Cooperation Bureau and the Kumgangsan International Tourism Administration.
