New party led by DP defectors launched

Lee Nak-yon, former leader of the main opposition Democratic Party (DP) and a co-head of the New Future party, waves its flag during an event at the National Assembly in Seoul on Feb. 4, 2024, to launch the party ahead of April's general elections.
