Fire breaks out after explosion at oil storage facility in Gyeongsan

GYEONGSAN, South Korea, Feb. 10 (Yonhap) -- A fire broke out Tuesday after an explosion at an oil storage facility in the southeastern city of Gyeongsan, with no immediate reports of casualties.

The flames began at about 8 a.m. following an explosion from an oil storage cover in the Youngnam branch of the Daehan Oil Pipeline Corp., with only smoke currently visible, according to police. The flames have currently died down.

There were no immediate reports of casualties.
