Lee Dae-yeol returns as soloist after 4 years and 5 months

SEOUL, Feb. 10 (Yonhap) -- Former Golden Child member Lee Dae-yeol will release his new song "Star Tree" at noon Tuesday.

According to Lee, "Star Tree" reflects on his time as the group’s leader, standing firm like a tree, and the shared growth he experienced with his fellow members. TAG, also a former member of Golden Child, participated in writing and composing the song.

The lyrics convey the message that even as time passes and flowers wither, the traces left behind ultimately become a path of blossoms.

The release marks Lee’s first solo song in four years and five months since "We Flow Out the Window," a track included in Golden Child’s second full-length album released in September 2021.
