'Dracula' featuring Jennie climbs to No. 10 on Billboard Hot 100

SEOUL, May 12 (Yonhap) -- "Dracula," a track featuring BLACKPINK's Jennie, has risen to No. 10 on the U.S. Billboard's main singles chart, becoming the K-pop star's highest-charting song as a solo artist.

Billboard said Monday (U.S. time) that the song by Australian psychedelic rock project Tame Impala and Jennie jumped from No. 18 the previous week into the top 10 of the Billboard Hot 100.

Originally released in October as a solo track by Tame Impala, "Dracula" regained momentum after a remix version featuring Jennie was unveiled in February. The remix gained widespread attention on short-form video platforms, fueling its chart ascent.

The song logged 12.1 million streams in the latest tracking week, up 5 percent from a week earlier, while radio airplay rose 20 percent to 23.1 million audience impressions, according to Billboard data.

The Hot 100 ranks the most popular songs in the United States across all genres, combining data from streaming, radio airplay and sales.

Jennie became the second member of BLACKPINK to achieve a top 10 solo entry on the chart, following Rose, whose collaboration "APT." with Bruno Mars peaked at No. 3.

With this achievement, BLACKPINK became the fifth group to have two female members score solo top 10 hits on the Hot 100, joining Destiny's Child, Fifth Harmony, Fleetwood Mac and The Go-Go's.
