SEOUL, Nov. 3 (Yonhap) -- Gimhae city's village activity group was selected as the support project for local cultural activity, hosted by the Regional Cultural Promotion Agency, and is holding a special exhibition.

A village activist visited places in nearby regions and drew stories that he saw and heard in the form of flower card paintings.

There are 48 cards which tell Gimhae story.

The Jinyeong Station Railway Museum will hold a special exhibition until Nov. 30

Jinyeong station was first built to serve as a military railroad by Imperial Japan for Russo-Japanese War in 1905.

The station then moved to current location in 1943 and played active role as Gyeongjeon line's distribution point.

Due to the Gyeongjeon Line double-track project, the existing Gyeongjeon line area was closed in 2010 and a new station was built on the outskirts of Jinyeong town.

Gimhae City remodeled the old Jinyeong station into a railway museum in 2019.
