SEOUL, July 14 (Yonhap) -- South Korean cinema chains Lotte Cinema and CGV will livestream the upcoming Seoul concert by virtual idol group PLAVE next month, the companies said Monday.
Titled "2025 PLAVE Asia Tour [DASH : Quantum Leap] in Seoul," the concert will be held from August 15 to 17 at the KSPO Dome in Olympic Park, marking the group’s first Asia tour since debuting two years ago. The final show on August 17 will be broadcast live at about 10 Lotte Cinema and 20 CGV locations nationwide.
The 240-minute screening will also include special viewing events at venues such as Lotte Cinema World Tower Theater 21 and CGV Yongsan I’Park Mall Theater 1, where fans can watch the performance with official light sticks.
Photo cards and other fan merchandise will be distributed through various promotions.
Debuting in 2023, PLAVE is a five-member virtual idol group rapidly gaining popularity across Korea and Asia. The upcoming concert will mark the first time a virtual idol group performs at the KSPO Dome.
