SEOUL, Jan. 7 (Yonhap) – Mnet, a South Korean television music channel, will premiere ‘MNET PRIME SHOW’ on Feb. 1, where artists will be collaborating to showcase their own distinctive stages with original ideas, according to the channel Friday.
The show will deviate from the rather typical format of a music talk show by having artists organize and carry out their own programs in the absence of MCs. The cast will change every month, with each of the artists’ stages aired in the first and second weeks of the month, a collaborative stage in the third week, and a behind-the-scenes story in the fourth week.
The first cast members are PSY and (G)I-DLE.
