The festival notably expanded its evening attractions, including illuminated displays and nighttime performances, greatly enhancing overall visitor satisfaction. The opening parade featured around 1,000 participants, including local residents and art organizations, highlighting the community’s active role in the celebration.
Performances by 45 local art groups under the banner “Gokseong Pungnyu” also added to the festive atmosphere.
The event also featured a pop-up store for “Rosy Friends,” a character developed through a Korea Tourism Organization project, along with interactive activities such as a scavenger hunt and photo booths, which proved especially popular with families.
One of the standout new programs this year, Rose Cinema, screened classic films at the central plaza each evening from 6 to 8 p.m., drawing in nighttime crowds.

In addition, the Gokseong chapter of Junior Chamber International (JCI) operated a promotional booth for the "Hometown Love Donation Program," raising approximately 35 million won (US$26,000) in donations from 385 individuals during the festival.
A county official said, “This year’s nighttime programs were very well received, and we plan to further expand evening cultural content for next year’s festival,” adding, “Even after the festival ends, the rose park will remain in full bloom, and we intend to continue attracting visitors.”
