Blackpink Rose's 'On The Ground' surpasses 200 million streams on Spotify

SEOUL, Apr. 13 (Yonhap) -- BLACKPINK Rose's (ROSÉ) solo song "On The Ground" has surpassed 200 million streams on the music streaming platform, Spotify, announced YG Entertainment on the 13th.

Released on the March of 2021, it has been about a year and a month since the song was released. It is now the third record among the solo songs of a female K-pop artist to reach 200 million streams on Spotify.

The first solo song to reach the 200 million record on Spotify was BLACKPINK Jennie's "SOLO" and BLACKPINK Lisa's "MONEY"

"On The Ground" is the title track of Rose's debut solo single album, "R." It contains the message of "Continuously working hard to reach the top, only to realize that the most important value was within oneself."
