Seoul December 14 (Yonhap) -- By using the volumetric technology, South Korean National Intangible Heritage center revealed digital data regarding Farmer’s performance of Namwon and Araenyeok Suryukjae (Water and Land Ritual at Araenyeok Village), addressed National Intangible Heritage Center on Thursday.
Volumetric Technology uses video cameras placed from every angles within 360 degrees, then converted into digital hologram in a form of a video.
Newly enforced technology will provide lively experience to viewers from various angles.
Upcoming release of the data are 3D holograms of Farmer’s performance of Namwon and Araenyeok Suryukjae (Water and Land Ritual at Araenyeok Village) using the newly developed technology called Volumetric.
Pupil Yongam Monk of Araenyeok Suryukjae (Water and Land Ritual at Araenyeok Village) and head of the preservation committee of Farmer’s performance of Namwon participated in the production of the contents encorporating VR and AR technology.
Digitalized material will be released through (www.iha.go.kr) and through the official application.
By scanning the QR code, viewers will be able to adjust the height and width and various aspects of the performers.
