SEOUL, December 11 (Yonhap) -- Danha, a designer who designed hanboks worn by girl group BLACKPINK, showed off the beauty of hanbok in Thailand.

The Korean Embassy in Thailand and the Korean Cultural Center announced on Sunday that Danha's exclusive fashion show was held on December 9 at the Thai Silk International Fashion Week in Siam Paragon, Bangkok, Thailand.

Thai Silk International Fashion Week is an annual event hosted by the Thai government, and this year, designers from 60 countries around the world will introduce representative costumes made of Thai silk for five days starting from December 7 to December 11.

On behalf of Korea, Danha showed a total of 24 costumes, including 12 costumes made of Thai silk.

Danha made her name known with the hanbok costume that appeared in the music video of BLACKPINK, and has also collaborated with other K-pop stars such as Mamamoo, Chungha, and Oh My Girl.

The event attracted more than 600 people, the largest number of fashion shows in 60 countries, according to organizers. The fashion show also featured a samulnori performance and a celebratory stage for Shin Yeon Ah, the leader of the group Big Mama.
