SEOUL, June 5 (Yonhap) -- Actors Lee Byung-hun and Honey Lee will voice the Korean dubbed version of the animated film "King of Kings," announced production company MOFAC Studio on Thursday.
"King of Kings" is a film that follows British author Charles Dickens and his youngest son Walter as they journey into the greatest story ever told, covering the life of Jesus from birth to resurrection. The screenplay and direction were both handled by Jang Sung-ho, CEO of Korean VFX company MOFAC Studio.
After its release in the U.S. this past April, the film grossed over $60 million (approximately 81.5 billion KRW), surpassing Bong Joon-ho’s "Parasite" to become the highest-grossing Korean film in Hollywood.
In the Korean-dubbed version set for release in July, Lee Byung-hun voices Charles Dickens, while Honey Lee plays his wife, Catherine Dickens.
Jin Sun-kyu voices Jesus, and Yang Dong-geun plays Peter. Other voice actors include Cha In-pyo, Kwon Oh-joong, Jang Gwang, and Choi Ha-ri.
