SEOUL, Aug. 19 (Yonhap) -- Comedian Yoon Jung-soo, 53, has legally registered his marriage to a Pilates instructor 12 years younger, his agency said Tuesday.

Yoon revealed the process through the YouTube channel “Yeouido Yooktwae Club” on Sunday, showing himself submitting the paperwork at a district office. “My fiancée and I decided together to register the marriage,” he said.

After completing the procedure alone, Yoon remarked, “I feel a lot of pressure. I realize I need to do well and live well. I’ll have to stay sharp and focused.”

Last month, Yoon disclosed on a television program that he was dating someone with marriage in mind. The two reportedly knew each other through acquaintances and began dating earlier this year. They plan to hold a wedding ceremony around November.

The video also showed Yoon holding the marriage certificate and embracing his wife afterward.

Yoon debuted in 1992 through the SBS Gag Contest and went on to appear as an MC and comedian in shows such as “Open Smile Paradise,” “Sunday Sunday Night” and “Exclamation Mark.”

From 2015 to 2017, he gained wide popularity after appearing on JTBC’s “With You Season 2 – The Greatest Love” as a virtual married couple with comedian Kim Sook.
