"Zombie Daughter" tells the story of Jung-hwan (Jo Jung-suk), a zookeeper specializing in wild animals, who encounters his daughter Soo-ah (Choi Yu-ri) after she becomes infected with a zombie virus. The film is based on the webtoon of the same name by author Lee Yoon-chang and is directed by Pil Gam-seong, known for "Hostage: Missing Celebrity" (2021).
With a CGV Egg Score of 91%, reflecting real-time viewer ratings, the film has been well received for its balance of humor and emotional depth. Performances by Jo Jung-suk, Lee Jung-eun, Yoon Kyung-ho, and Choi Yu-ri have drawn particular praise.
