SEOUL, June 24 (Yonhap) -- Lee Jin-wook is returning to the screen as a sharp and capable lawyer.
JTBC announced on Tuesday that Lee Jin-wook will star as a partner attorney at a major law firm in its upcoming weekend drama "Esquire: Lawyers Who Dream of Law," set to premiere on August 2.
Lee will play Yoon Seok-hoon, a perfectionist lawyer who is difficult to approach but unmatched in skill.
He mentors Hyomin (played by Jung Chae-yeon), a rookie lawyer full of passion and idealism but lacking real-world experience.
Actors Lee Hak-joo and Jeon Hye-bin will also appear as lawyers, portraying the intense world behind courtroom battles.
The production team stated, “‘Esquire’ will depict the journey of people carrying emotional wounds as they find healing and recovery through litigation. The lawyers who represent them will also confront their own pain and grow alongside their clients.”
