SEOUL, Jan. 13 (Yonhap) – Afreeca TV has opened an “LCK Team Page” for e-sports fans who enjoy watching the League of Legends Champions Korea (LCK) matches, according to the South Korean video streaming service Friday.

On the newly launched page, users will be able to enjoy the individual broadcasts of players who have signed streaming partnerships with Afreeca TV without having to search for their videos individually.

Users who subscribe to any videos will be offered an opportunity to ask questions to the player once every day, and the questions submitted will be delivered to the player teams for answers. Afreeca TV also launched the service of a chat room, where users who watch the official LCK live broadcast on the page of a player team will be able to gather and communicate with one another as they cheer for the supporting team.

Chae Jung-won, the head of Afreeca TV’s e-sports division said, “I thought the expansion of fandoms of the LoL teams was necessary for the sake of sustainable operations of every team participating in the LCK,” adding, “We have launched a service with which our users who are also fans of LoL can readily check out the overall information and community of the teams they cheer for.”
