SEOUL, Jan. 31 (Yonhap) -- The 25th SEOUL International Women’s Film Festival (SIWFF) announced that the contest for the short film production support project “Film X Gender” is now open for submissions, with a deadline of Feb. 20.
Films under 20 minutes depicting daily gender issues can be submitted; any directors who have produced at least two films can apply.
The two final selected films will be supported with 20 million won for production costs and mentoring programs. The selected films will then have a world premiere in the “Film X Gender” part of this year’s SIWFF.
SEOUL International Women’s Film Festival is an annual film festival that has been held in Seoul since 1997. Details on the "Film X Gender" are available online on the official website of SIWFF.
