Jeon Do-yeon, Kim Go-eun to Reunite in Netflix Thriller 'The Price of Confession'

SEOUL, Nov. 6 (Yonhap) -- Top actresses Jeon Do-yeon and Kim Go-eun will reunite on screen for the first time in 10 years in the Netflix original series "The Price of Confession", the streaming service said Thursday.

Set for release on Dec. 5, the mystery thriller follows Yoon Soo (played by Jeon), a woman accused of killing her husband, and Mo Eun (played by Kim), a mysterious figure who approaches her with a dangerous proposal — to confess to the murder on her behalf in exchange for an undisclosed price.

As Yoon Soo insists on her innocence and struggles to clear her name, the story unfolds into a tense psychological game between the two women.

The series also stars Park Hae-soo as Baek Dong-hoon, a prosecutor pursuing hidden truths, and Jin Sun-kyu as Jang Jung-gu, Yoon Soo’s defense lawyer.

"The Price of Confession" marks the first collaboration between Jeon and Kim since the 2015 film "Memories of the Sword", drawing anticipation for the chemistry between the two acclaimed actresses.
