SEOUL,
Aug. 22 (Yonhap) --
The administration announced it will sign a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with cosmetics company Clio at Changdeok Palace’s Gyujanggak later in the day to expand the reach of K-culture.
An official from the administration said the partnership aims to "create new cultural value by combining Korea’s heritage, which forms the foundation of K-culture, with K-beauty expertise."
As part of the collaboration, the two sides plan to launch new products on Aug. 29, including an eyeshadow palette inspired by plum blossoms and goldenrain trees. A portion of sales will be used to help preserve natural heritage sites.
They also intend to cooperate on the preservation and restoration of royal attire and other heritage-related projects.
