SEOUL, Aug. 19 (Yonhap) -- Director Bong Joon-ho’s graduation project from the 11th class of the Korean Academy of Film Arts (KAFA), “Incoherence,” will be released in theaters on Aug. 27.

Multiplex chain Megabox said Tuesday it will launch its new short film brand “Short Film” with Bong’s early work “Incoherence” (1994) as the first release, exclusively in its theaters.

The 30-minute omnibus short satirizes the hypocrisy and double standards of Korea’s elite with humor and irony.

Starting with “Incoherence,” Megabox plans to screen one short film every month, including early works of acclaimed directors, award-winning pieces from film festivals, and original shorts by emerging filmmakers.
