SEOUL, Jan. 31 (Yonhap) -- CGV, the largest multiplex cinema chain in South Korea, will screen the live recording of trot singer Lim Young-woong’s concert, “IM HERO: THE FINAL,” on Mar. 1, the cinema announced Tuesday.
The film will consist of not only the live recording of the concert “IM HERO,” which was held at the Gocheok Sky Dome in Seoul in Dec. 2022, but also the preparation process and behind-the-scenes stories.
CGV plans to screen the film using the Screen X technology which offers stunning visuals and action sequences expanded onto the side screens -- the technology employs the left and right walls in addition to the regular 2D screen wall.
Lim Young-woong is a South Korean trot, ballad, and pop singer, who made himself known by appearing in TV Chosun’s survival audition show, “Mr. Trot.”
