SEOUL, Feb. 1 (Yonhap) -- South Korean rock band Daybreak will hold a solo concert “NEW DAY” at Samsung Hall of Ewha Womens University in Seodaemun-gu, Seoul, from Feb. 4 to 5, the band’s agency MPMG Music announced Tuesday.

The gig’s title “NEW DAY” combined the word “new,” meaning not existing before, and “day” from the act’s name. The compound word was also the title for the band’s EP that contains their hit song “Good.”

“We decided on the concert name to share the band’s determination to take a leap towards a new day with their fans,” the band’s agency explained. “Daybreak will deliver a message full of hope, consolation, and courage in the upcoming concert through the band’s positive energy and rich sound.”

Daybreak said, “We will show what we ace in combined with what people expect most from us.”

Formed in 2007, Daybreak consists of 4 members: Lee Won-suk, Kim Jang-won, Jeong Yoo-jong, and Kim Sun-il.
