SEOUL, July 1 (Yonhap) -- The third season of the Netflix original series "Squid Game" has maintained its global No. 1 spot for three consecutive days, continuing to draw attention despite receiving mixed reviews.
According to streaming analytics site FlixPatrol on Saturday, "Squid Game 3" ranked No. 1 in Netflix's TV show category for the third straight day as of the previous day.
The series topped the charts in all 93 countries where FlixPatrol tracks Netflix rankings, including major markets such as the United States and the United Kingdom.
FlixPatrol calculates rankings based on Netflix's "Top 10" lists and assigns scores by country accordingly.
"Squid Game 3," which was released on May 27, debuted at No. 1 in the TV show category just a day later, on May 28.

The first season of "Squid Game" reached the top spot eight days after its release and remained in the global top 10 for 106 days.
While viewer reactions to season 3 have been somewhat divided, the show continues to generate strong buzz as the final chapter of a global phenomenon.
According to Netflix, approximately 38,000 people gathered for the "Squid Game" finale parade held in central Seoul on May 28, stretching from Gwanghwamun to Seoul Plaza. Around 9,000 fans also attended a subsequent fan event. A YouTube livestream of the event surpassed 4.4 million views within just two hours of its start.
