SEOUL, August 19 (Yonhap) -- The music video of Jay Park's new song "Bite", made with Apple, was released on August 18, 6pm.

The music video was made with iPad, Apple Pencil, other Apple devices and varieties of creative applications. Apple announced that the music video was directed by Kim Kyu-ha, who is highly experienced at filming advertisements, with the idea of Namon paintings, by the popular Naver online comic writer "Jeong Nyeon."

Apple explained that the Bite music video visualized Jay Park's dreams and aspirations in the lyrics with a sensational rhythm with dreamy images.

Applications such as "Clip Studio Paint," a cartoon production app, and "Metal Canvas Draw," an application which creates a virtual place when a photo is placed in a 3D space, were applied. Most of the illustration parts, animation and basic editing were done on iPad.

This music video, showing iPad's different functions and innovative tools, was made to promote the new season of Apple's "Create with Apple" campaign.


The music video is available on Apple Music during the campaign period, August 18 until 31, and it will also be uploaded on Jay Park's official YouTube channel. Moreover, Apple will be hosting a session to show the campaign's making story at Myeong-dong Apple store on September 1, The "Today at Apple" session is named "Create with iPad along with Namon and Kim Kyu-ha." The online comic writer Namon and director Kim Kyu-ha will be discussing about the story behind the production of the music video, and they will be introducing all the functions of the applications used and demonstrate how Webtoons are created.

Registration for the session can be done on the Apple website from August 25.

Namon said "I use iPad on a daily basis, but I am happy that I was able to express the emotions I felt when I heard the song for the first time, and the stories behind the song by using variety of applications on iPad."

 

Director Kim Kyu-ha added, "I recommend the fans to enjoy the new style of music video and look for symbols and details hidden throughout it."
