Seoul, August 18 (Yonhap) -- Apple announced through their Newsroom page on Thursday, that GarageBand for iOS and iPadOS, an app to compose and play music, is featuring K-pop group SEVENTEEN and Katy Perry's hit songs.

SEVENTEEN's first entirely English song "Darl+ing" which was released in march of this year, and Katy Perry's "Harleys in Hawaii" which was released in 2020 are the two newly featured songs. Remix sessions for the two songs are available in the GarageBand Sound Library, as a free download.

GarageBand introduces step-by-step video instructions and users can also find variety of loops, sounds, instruments and more virtual tools needed for remix sessions. Apple added that users do not need professional knowledge about composing, but anyone can make their own song by simply arranging songs, adding new features, changing the genre and also combining different genres.

SEVENTEEN's Woozi commented, “We love sharing the music-making experience with our fans. We’ve used GarageBand for years, so it’s an honor to collaborate with Apple on our Remix Session in GarageBand. Now our fans can create music the same way we do. We hope everyone will have fun remixing our song ‘Darl+ing’ with their own sense of style, and we can’t wait for Carats to share their final remixes with us and the rest of the world when they’re done.”
