SEOUL, April 18 (Yonhap) -- South Korean star actors Cha Tae-hyun and Zo In-sung, who are known to be close friends, have established a new management agency called "Base Camp Company."
According to a representative of Base Camp Company on Friday, the two actors founded the company based on the trust they have built over more than 20 years, marking a fresh start.
The name "Base Camp Company" signifies their intention to be a reliable base of support for artists, just like a base camp is essential when climbing a high mountain or embarking on a new expedition. The company is joined by staff members who have worked with Cha Tae-hyun and Zo In-sung since their debut or for at least the past seven years.
Both actors plan to continue focusing on their acting careers. Cha Tae-hyun is currently appearing on the tvN variety show Handsome Guys, while Zo In-sung recently completed filming for the movies Hope and Humint.
