BTS' 'Proof' enters Billboard album chart for 28 consecutive weeks

SEOUL December 29 (Yonhap) -- K-pop superstar BTS’ anthology album “Proof” has successfully guarded its place within “Billboard 20” for 28 consecutive weeks.

According to the list released by Billboard on December 28 (US time) “Proof” was charted at 90th within the chart which is 5 ranks above it’s previous rank.

Moreover, the album was ranked second on the “World Album” chart and “29th on “Top Current Album” chart and 69th on the “Top Album Sales” chart.

Leader of BTS, RM’s first solo album “Indigo” re-entered the chart as third on the list within “Billboard 200.” The record created by RM is the best record yet to be held by K-pop solo artist.

Continuing on “Indigo” managed to top the “World Album” chart for three consecutive weeks, and managed to re-enter the chart as second on “Top Album Sales,” and “Top Current Album” chart.

Official sound track of Qatar World Cup, “Dreamers” which is sang by Jungkook of BTS was placed 4th on “World Digital Song Sales” and 47th on “Global” excluding all of the songs released in the United States, and 80th in “Global 200.”
