SEOUL November 15 (Yonhap) -- Seoul City Wall Museum will be hosting “What happened at Hyehwamun That Day?” addressed Seoul Museum of History on Tuesday.
Starting in 2017, Seoul City Wall Museum has been hosting a special exhibition based on eight of the different doors within the fortress wall of Seoul. “What happened at Hyehwamun That Day?” which is an exhibition based on the northern east door Hyehwamun, of the fortress wall Seoul will be held until March 12 of 2023.
Throughout the exhibition, visitors will be showcased with information regarding the history and changes Hyehwamun also known as “Dongsomun” (Small door on the east), literal translation.
“What happened at Hyehwamun That Day?” will showcase relics regarding the Hyehwamun, old maps, and paintings will be available for the visitors to see. Also animation film, which was reconstructed based on the old anecdotes will be played at the exhibition.
Special exhibition “What happened at Hyehwamun That Day?” is free of admission fee, and the exhibition will be opened from 9 in the morning until 6 in the afternoon except for Monday which is a closing day for the museum.
