Netflix series 'Genie, Make A Wish' starring Suzy, Kim Woo-bin to be released in October

SEOUL, Aug. 22 (Yonhap) -- Netflix will release the fantasy romantic comedy series ""Genie, Make A Wish"," starring Kim Woo-bin and Suzy, on Oct. 3, the global streaming service said Friday.

The series follows the story of Jinny, a genie who awakens after a thousand years, and Ga-young, his new master. 

Kim plays Jinny, while Suzy takes on the role of Ga-young, a girl devoid of emotions. The two become entangled over three wishes, unfolding a tale of romance and fantasy.

The script was written by renowned screenwriter Kim Eun-sook, known for hit dramas such as "Mr. Sunshine" and "Lovers in Paris."
