SEOUL, April 4 (Yonhap) -- South Korean comedian Kim Byung-man is set to remarry in September, his agency Sky Turtle confirmed Wednesday.
"Kim Byung-man will be marrying his non-celebrity partner in September," a representative from the agency told Yonhap News in a phone interview. "The ceremony will be a small, private event attended only by family members."
Kim made his debut in 2002 as a comedian through KBS’s open recruitment program. He gained widespread recognition for his appearances in the popular Gag Concert segment The Master and the SBS variety show Law of the Jungle.
Kim was previously married to a non-celebrity who was seven years his senior in 2011. However, after a prolonged period of separation, the couple officially announced their divorce in November 2023.
Last year, he faced legal controversy when his ex-wife accused him of assault and battery, but prosecutors ultimately dropped the charges due to a lack of evidence.
