SEOUL January 19 (Yonhap) -- Lotte Mart of South Korea will be providing customers with new strain of strawberries called “Durihyang” also known “BTS Strawberries” and various more premium variants.
“Durihyang strawberries” became famous as it was featured within the social media post of global sensation BTS. Unlike other strains of strawberries durihyang withholds higher concentration of sugar content.
Lotte mart addressed that they have acquired four times more the amount they did previously.
moreover Lotte Mart managed to get hold of 50 percent more of various strains of premium products such as “Kingsberry strawberries” which is twice the size the normal strawberries.
Lotte Mart expects to witness increase in sales based on the significant increase in sales in between January 1 and January 17.
On top of “Durihyang Strawberries,” various fruits with high concentrated sugar contents such as “The Kkyul” and Shine Muscat and more will be offered to the customers.
