S. Korea's response to N.K. leader's hostile remarks
Koo Byoung-sam, spokesperson of the unification ministry, announces the ministry's stance on North Korean leader Kim Jong-un's latest hostile rhetoric toward South Korea at the ministry in Seoul on Jan. 16, 2024, vowing a stern response. Kim called for revising the North's constitution to define South Korea as its "invariable principal enemy" and vowed to completely occupy South Korean territory in the event of war during a parliamentary meeting the previous day.
