SEOUL, May 13 (Yonhap) -- Krafton announced on Thursday their acquisition of game developer, Dreamotion Inc.
Established in July 2016, Dreamotion Inc. has developed a number of mobile games such as 'Ronin: The Last Samurai.'
"I'm very happy and proud to be working as Krafton's independent studio," said Lee Joon-young, CEO of Dreamotion Inc. "We will make efforts to showcase global and popular intellectual property (IP) in a productive environment where we can focus on game development."
Krafton sold 25,342 shares of its own shares (worth 11.1548 billino won) to acquire Dreamotion Inc.
Kim Chang-han, CEO of Krafton said, "I think Dreamotion Inc.'s passion for demonstrating creativity and production capabilities by introducing various games at a fast rate is in line with Krafton's visions. We will support Dreamotion Inc. to continue to grow as Krafton's independent studio."
