Britain's Got Talent winner Thackery visits S. Korea

Britain's Got Talent 2019 winner Colin Thackery arrives at Incheon International Airport, west of Seoul, on July 24, 2023. Thackery, a British Korean War veteran, came to the country under the South Korean government's program to invite foreign Korean War veterans. He is scheduled to sing Korean folk song "Arirang" at an event to mark the 70th anniversary of the 1950-53 conflict, where Britain and 15 other nations fought for South Korea against invading North Korea under the U.N. flag.
