Ex-Peace Corps couple's donation of Korean materials

This photo, provided by the Seoul-based Overseas Korean Cultural Heritage Foundation on July 31, 2023, shows two of 1,516 materials, which an American couple -- Gary Mintier and his wife, Mary Mintier, both 77 years old -- had collected and recorded while serving as Peace Corps members in South Korea about 50 years ago. The couple donated all of them to the foundation. This photo shows paintings drawn by Joseon Dynasty painter Song Soo-myeon (1847-1916), featuring apricot flowers and bamboo.
