Seoul education chief gets suspended prison term again
Cho Hee-yeon (C), superintendent of the Seoul Metropolitan Office of Education, exits the Seoul High Court in Seoul on Jan. 18, 2024, after being sentenced to 1 1/2 years in prison, suspended for two years, for his involvement in illegally hiring dismissed teachers. The sentence is the same as the one given by a lower court about a year ago. (Yonhap)
